To honor the reconstruction of the London Bridge in Lake Havasu and provide a fund raising vehicle for the many charitable and community projects of the London Bridge Rotary Club, the club sponsored the release of the first "Havasu Dollar" in October 1971.

Each October since then, a new London Bridge Rotary Commemorative Coin has been released during London Bridge Days, the annual anniversary celebration of the dedication of the London Bridge in Lake Havasu City.

This 41th issue celebrating "Arizona Centennial" is now available for only $8.00 + Shipping.

Also available are (bright silver plated colorized coins), (solid .999 fine, 1oz. silver coins) and (solid .999 fine, 1oz. silver coins with 24kt. gold overlay) packaged in sets of various combinations.

Special Editions and Colorized

This year our London Bridge Rotary Club is honoring this milestone with the 41th edition of its long running Commemorative Coin Series.  As always, on the front of the coin, the famous London Bridge is the special focus.  This year, the bridge stands with a State Star hovering above.  The flip side of the coin reveals a look at Arizona 100 years ago with a covered wagon.

When a new coin is released each year, that coin becomes part of the very popular collector "Framed Complete Set".  As the coins age and the available quantities diminish, the trading price begins to increase.  Many coins have appreciated significantly over the years.  The current "street price" of our most sought after #2 (1972-73) coin is $156!  However, many of the more recent issued coins can still be bought for as little as $6.00 to $10.00.

The Rotarians of the London Bridge Rotary Club offer their services each weekend in the English Village to greet visitors to the bridge area and to offer for sale the London Bridge Commemorative Coin as a souvenir of their visit. The internationally collected Commemorative Coin has been increasing in value each year. They are highly sought after as popular and legitimate collector's items and used as gifts and awards. This very successful project has allowed the London Bridge Rotary Club to contribute over $1.3 Million Dollars to many community and charitable causes.
