Adopt-A-Family Shopping Fun

Several London Bridge Rotary Club members and family of Rotary members enjoyed an evening of spending money raised at the recent Razr Raffle to make the holidays brighter for some local families.The shoppers had taken time to meet the parents and children so that toys that were wanted were purchased as well as needed clothing. The families were screened by Salvation Army where food baskets will be available for pickup when it is time to deliver the gifts over the next few days.
It is a pleasure to work collaboratively with a local charity which is represented in our club membership. Thanks to Lisa Fuhrman who coordinated the effort and arranged with lour local Penney's and Wal Mart stores for our shoppers to receive wonderful service from assigned staff and stretch our shopping impact by arranging for additional discounts.
