FACT: Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring reduces a child’s risk of dropping out of school. We have the numbers to prove it. Our Littles are:

· 35% less likely to skip school

· 33% less likely to be involved in school misconduct

However, the biggest change can’t be put into numbers-we help change the way a child sees the world and interacts with it. Through one-on-one mentoring, children learn to make better choices. When a girl discovers that she can change her own life…when a boy can envision a bright future for himself…these kid’s lives are changed forever.

If you would like to mentor a student please contact Alana.  At this time there are 10 children waiting in Lake Havasu City for someone to be there “hero”.   It is a one year commitment at only one hour per week with a few social events.
